Usernames and passwords are provided in the Lab Manual whenever needed for taking the lab. Selecting the password from the password and then dragging to the lab console and dropping in the password field is the most reliable way to enter the correct password. Unintentional keyboard repeat can happen if the console connection is weak.

Passwords are also provided in the README.txt file on the desktop for copy and paste. Selecting the password and then using the right-click pop-up menu to copy the selected text is the best method. Use the same pop-up menu method to paste into the password field of the application.

In general, we try to use "VMware1!" (no quotes) for the password where ever possible. Some applications require a stronger password. In those cases, we try to use "VMware1!VMware1!" (no quotes). Exceptions to these conventions should be documented in the README.txt and the lab manual.
